Meet Ashley Lynn

Ashley created Joy of Organizing to guide and encourage people in creating spaces that reflect their values and make room for the life they truly want to live. Her mission is to help others clear both physical and mental clutter, approaching the process of tidying as a meaningful act of self-care and self-discovery.

ABOUT

Organizing has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I found joy in sorting and tidying—not just my own belongings, but also my family’s and even the neighbor’s. What started as a natural instinct has grown into a deeper calling: helping others transform their spaces to bring more clarity, calm, and joy into their lives.

Over the years, I’ve worked in office management, professional event planning, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon. These people-centered experiences have shaped how I approach organizing—with empathy, thoughtfulness, and a deep respect for each person’s unique path. I’ve learned just how powerful it is to feel supported—especially during times of transition or overwhelm.

My search for meaningful, fulfilling work has always led me back to this: the joy I find in helping others create intentional spaces. Because organizing isn’t just about your stuff—it impacts how you think, how you feel, and how present you are in your daily life. When our surroundings are clear, our minds and hearts have more room to focus on what truly matters.

Organizing may seem simple on the surface, but I’ve found it can be a profound and transformative experience. When we begin to let go of what no longer serves us, everything begins to shift. We think more clearly. We sleep better. We show up with more intention. That’s the kind of transformation I’m here for.

“I see tidying as an act of self-care—and a way back to yourself.”

Whether you’re buried in paperwork, overwhelmed by your home, or simply craving a fresh start, I’m here to guide you with compassion, encouragement, and gentle direction. This work brings me deep joy—and I’d be honored to support you on your journey toward more space, more clarity, and more ease.

Tidying ought to be the act of restoring balance among people, their possessions and the house they live in.

If you are considering a lifestyle change, I would highly recommend Ashley and her Joy of Organizing services. I just wanted to clean my kitchen and dining room for Christmas, but I have received so much more than that! Ashley and her enthusiasm for organization have impacted my life in many ways and I feel reorienting my thinking processes will have a lasting impact on my life. I still have a ways to go, but now my scheduled cleaning time is treasured, instead of something I can put aside until “someday.”
